We’re Proud to Announce: Pinellas Animal Hospital Continues to Be AAHA Accredited!

We are excited to share some wonderful news!  Pinellas Animal Hospital has once again passed our American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) accreditation review!

This means we continue to meet (and exceed!) the highest standards of veterinary care. Less than 15% of small-animal hospitals in the United States and Canada earn this prestigious distinction, and we’re proud to be among them.

What Does AAHA Accreditation Mean?

Unlike human hospitals, not all animal hospitals are required to be accredited. The process is completely voluntary and incredibly thorough. AAHA-accredited hospitals are evaluated on over 900 standards that cover every aspect of veterinary medicine, including:

  • Patient care and pain management
  • Surgery and anesthesia safety
  • Diagnostic and laboratory services
  • Staff training and continuing education
  • Cleanliness, facilities, and client communication

These standards are continuously updated by veterinary leaders to reflect the latest advancements in medicine and technology.

Why It Matters for You and Your Pet

When you bring your pet to an AAHA-accredited hospital like ours, you can rest assured that your furry family member is receiving care that goes above and beyond basic requirements. We are committed to maintaining excellence in every part of our hospital from the moment you walk through our doors to the follow-up care your pet receives at home.

We choose to be accredited because we believe your pets deserve the very best and we will never stop striving to deliver just that.

Thank You for Trusting Us

We couldn’t achieve this level of excellence without the incredible support of our clients and the dedication of our entire team. Your trust inspires us to continue improving and growing every single day.

From all of us at Pinellas Animal Hospital, thank you for being part of our family and for letting us care for furry and feathered family members.
