Coronavirus Update April 6th 2020

Our clients and patient’s health & safety are our #1 concern during these unsettling times.  We feel it is crucial that you receive the correct information regarding the spread of this disease.

As you have probably heard by now there has been a report of a tiger in the Bronx Zoo testing positive for COVID-19.  The following link is a report from The New York Times which will give you further information regarding this case: https://www.nytimes.com/2020/04/06/science/tiger-cats-coronavirus.html

We would like to send this message to ease your concerns regarding your own pet.

This article states that ‘THERE IS NO EVIDENCE THAT DOMESTIC OR CAPTIVE WILD ANIMALS CAN SPREAD THE CORONAVIRUS TO PEOPLE ‘.  If you are being tested for COVID-19 or have symptoms relating to this disease, you are advised to separate yourself from pets as well as other people.  For your safety it is recommended that you limit your contact and keep away from your pets until your symptoms have passed or a negative result has been received.  When possible, have another household member care for your animals while you are sick, if you must care for them wash your hands before and after contact and wear a face mask.

We wish you well and continue to serve you as always by offering curbside service.  Our dedicated team are still working to provide the best care for your four-legged friends throughout this pandemic.  If you need to schedule an appointment please text or call us on 727-546-0005.
