Our puppy wellness program is designed to offer your new puppy all the benefits of veterinary services administered to him/her from 6 weeks of age to 16 weeks of age. A series of examinations and vaccinations include, Rabies, DA2PP-C (canine distemper adenovirus type 2, parainfluenza, parvovirus, and coronavirus), Leptospirosis, Bordetella and Canine Influenza
In addition, your puppy will be tested for intestinal parasites such as hookworms, roundworms or whipworms. These parasites can cause gastrointestinal signs such as vomiting and/or diarrhea and can even cause your puppy to become anemic (low red blood cells). Performing a fecal test and deworming will allow us to treat your puppy accordingly. Although some parasites are visible to the naked eye, most must be diagnosed by examining eggs in the stool of your puppy microscopically.
