Kitten Wellness

KittenWellness

Our kitten wellness program is designed to offer your new kitten all the benefits of veterinary services administered to him/her from 6 weeks of age to 12 weeks of age.

This series of examinations and vaccinations include Rabies, FVRCP (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia) and Leukemia. A full physical exam will be performed to ensure the complete health of your new kitten. In addition, your kitten will be tested for intestinal parasites. These parasites can cause gastrointestinal signs such as vomiting or diarrhea and can even cause your kitten to become anemic (low red blood cells). Performing a fecal test and deworming will allo us to treat your puppy accordingly. Although some parasites are visible to the naked eye, most must be diagnosed by examining eggs in the stool of your puppy microscopically.

A kitten pack will be given to take home which includes a complimenary dose of heartworm prevention and flea prevention, a bag and cans of Science Diet kitten food, along with a variety of information brochures to help you learn more about your new addition.
